These are two very detailed cloisonne boxes in the form of nesting chickens. The principal color of one box is a pale green; the second box is a traditional Chinese turquoise. The lid of both boxes is detailed with a "chick" knob. The exposed brass element are gold plated. The interior of both boxes is enameled in turquoise.
