This is a superb example of the neoclassical daybed or recamier that dates to the Swedish Biedermeier Period. The recamier is in overall very good condition. It is upholstered in a neutral deep beige/sage velour, although not new, the upholstery is in very good condition. The satinwood frame is beautifully crafted and combines influences of both the Louis XV and Louis XVI periods. The side rails feature alternating dark and light fluted inlaid squares. This refined daybed is ready to ship to its new home and due to its pure design aesthetics could be placed in a multitude of design settings from classical to mid-century.
